The degree of darkness is dependent upon the type and number of Low-e coating applied to the surface of the glass. In general, you will not be able to notice this slightly darker appearance unless the window is directly next to a window with clear glass. Reflective glass, which is not typically used in residential applications because of cost and appearance, can make the glass significantly darker.
