REPLACEMENT WINDOWS

In some cases, new windows can help eliminate condensation. However, if the humidity in the air is high enough, even the best window
will exhibit some condensation. New high-quality windows with good insulating glass technology will help to reduce condensation because
they are much less thermally conductive than older types of windows. They can help keep the temperature of the window warmer, thus
minimizing the hot and cold differences that turn moisture into condensation.
Oftentimes, new windows may exhibit some condensation where the original windows did not. Generally, this is because the old windows
leaked enough to vent the humid air to the outside. New, tighter windows can greatly reduce this venting, allowing moisture levels to build
up high enough to be seen on the windows. If this happens, you need to determine the source of the moisture and eliminate it.
