WINDOW CONDENSATION
The Learning Center
This graph shows condensation potential on the center of glass area
(the area at least 2.5" from the frame/glass edge) at various outdoor
temperatures and indoor relative humidity conditions. Condensation
can occur at any point that falls on or above the curves.
Note that the thermal conductivity at the edge of the glass is
generally higher than at the center. For example, insulated glass with
a Low- coating and argon gas may tolerate 61 percent humidity at 0
degrees, but the edge may show signs of condensation at only 26
percent humidity.
