That’s what the owners of Energy Swing Windows believe, and others in the Pittsburgh region are beginning to find out this for themselves. Energy Swing Windows was named one of the “Best Places to Work in Western, PA” by the Pittsburgh Business Times in 2009. This award honored the companies with the best worker morale, engagement and retention. Companies were scientifically surveyed and ranked by Quantum Market Research.  The Torch Awards are given by the Better Business Bureau each year in recognition of businesses that are committed to providing exceptional service to their customers and perform ethically in all aspects of their operations. Energy Swing received this award in 2008, winning for the Small Business Category (between 11-99 employees) in all of Western PA. The President of the BBB contacted the company himself, saying they “overwhelmingly” were chosen as the rightful winners. “It’s clear from Energy Swing Windows’ values that their daily operations are guided by the premise of what is the right thing to do for their clients, employees, and suppliers and has a direct correlation on their continued success as a leader in the industry,” stated Warren King, President of the BBB. There was a bit of excitement recently in the Energy Swing Windows showroom in Murrysville. Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce President, Tom Sochacki, made a surprise visit to announce Steve Rennekamp, Energy Swing Windows President, as the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year. The recipient of  numerous awards, including the Certified Contractor’s Network’s President’s Award, and the Pittsburgh Business Times Best Places to Work Award, Rennekamp was nominated for the award by Drew Barto, Energy Swing Windows’ Director of Marketing. When asked why he felt Steve was a good candidate for this honor, Barto responded, “I nominated Steve for this award because he equips all of his employees with the knowledge to become successful, and because he places more emphasis on doing the right thing for his clients than any business owner I’ve ever met.”  Certified Contractors Network (CCN) 2010 Business of the Year Energy Swing Windows of Murrysville was recently recognized by the Certified Contractor's Network (CCN) as Company of the Year at the group's Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida. CCN is a national organization of contractors who strive to maintain the highest standard of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism for their clients while striving for the goal of 100% customer satisfaction. Energy Swing was one of three finalists in the group of over 200 contractors. When asked his thoughts on receiving the award, Rennekamp responded, "Energy Swing is extremely honored to receive this prestigious recognition from Certified Contractors, especially since it awarded based upon the results of a membership vote. All of our people work very hard at delivering value to our clients. It's nice to know that our efforts are highly thought of by other quality conscious contractors throughout the United States. We pride ourselves on being the most referred window and door company in western Pennsylvania. The things we have learned from CCN and its members have played a major role in making us the kind of customer-focused company we are today."  Remodeling Magazine’s Big50 Honoree as One of the Top 50 Contractors in the U.S. (2011) Energy Swing Windows of Murrysville has been awarded the distinction of being named one of Remodeling Magazine's Big50 Honorees for 2011. Only 50 honorees are chosen annually from a nationwide search conducted by Remodeling Magazine, a leading publication in the home improvement industry. The award originated in 1986 as a way to recognize those outstanding contractors who personify integrity, professionalism and quality in the home improvement industry. Companies are nominated by the magazine's editors and columnists, along with suggestions from board members on the National Association of the Remodeling Industry and the National Association of Home Builders. Once the nominations are in, the magazine talks to the company, their vendors, competitors, and of course, clients, to determine that the nominee meets the magazine's stringent standards of excellence. GuildQuality, an independent customer satisfaction auditor, then polls the clients of each nominee, with the results playing a major role in determining the winners.  The poll of Energy Swing clients came back with a 99% customer satisfaction rating for the window company.  Based upon the results of this survey, Energy Swing was also singled out to receive GuildQuality's Service Excellence Award. This special award recognizes the Big50 company who consistently delivers an exceptional customer experience.
