After almost 40 years in the window business, I founded Energy Swing because I felt there was a need for a company in the home improvement industry whose primary focus isn’t sales, but rather on delivering value to its customers. I wanted to create a “Clearly Different” company from every perspective. In general, home improvement projects such as new windows, is one area where the consumer has relatively little experience and a high exposure to risk. This is why more than half the people in a national survey said that they would not recommend, or use, the contractor they had do their work. In states such as Pennsylvania, where there is no licensing or certification process for contractors, this situation is even worse. In Pennsylvania you have only a three in ten chance of picking a reliable company to work on your home; not very good odds. On top of this, many companies are still selling old technology at today’s prices; not a good deal. At Energy Swing, we are dedicated to working hand in hand with our customers to fully evaluate their needs while educating them on the options for solving their problems.
